Enslaved: Odyssey to the West was...okay. I mean for 10 bucks it was good I suppose, entertaining at the least, had it's funny moments (I'm still laughing about the "hand on penis" bit haha), but I don't know about the ending. I got it I think? To be enslaved by the memory of a better time or to move on with your life and deal with it as it is?...I think I wanted a little more (reminds me of Mass Effect harhar) to let me know what happened with Monkey and Trip. But yeah, it was alright. A little redundant at times with game play but I did enjoy climbing around on stuff.
And this game was definitely beautiful and had great voice acting so that was nice.
Although, I really...REALLY disliked the mixing of real life people with the CGI world...it just felt very strange...and every time Monkey had one of those "flash backs" I felt myself getting pulled out of the world that these characters existed in. But yeah, I feel like I would like this game a lot more if they didn't include those "real people" moments.
So yeah, I don't know, I just felt like talking about this game since I just recently beat it
If you're bored, like I was, this is a decent and cheap game to pass a day or two. I did greatly enjoy the main character's though, I wish we could have seen more of the people in that world besides them.
